Curriculum at RCkids Academy

At RCkids Academy, we use the Mother Goose Time curriculum, designed to support the growth and development of young children aged 2.5 to 5 years old. This curriculum focuses on hands-on learning and encourages children to explore, create, and discover new things every day. Mother Goose Time helps children develop important skills in areas like language, math, science, art, and health. With our bilingual environment, children also learn and practice skills
in both Spanish and English.

Language and Literacy

Through stories, songs, and rhymes, children build their reading and speaking skills in both languages.

Math

Simple math concepts like counting and recognizing shapes are introduced through fun activities.

Science

Children explore nature and science concepts with hands-on experiences that spark curiosity.

Art

Creative activities like drawing and building help children express themselves and develop fine motor skills.

Health

Children learn about taking care of their bodies, including healthy eating, exercise, and hygiene. We encourage good habits like washing hands, brushing teeth, and staying active through fun activities and games.

Each month, Mother Goose Time focuses on a new theme, keeping learning fresh and exciting.

The daily routine is subject to change based upon the age and needs of each group.
